Job Description
We are looking for an up-and-coming researcher who wants to conduct pioneering research to take up a position as Assistant Professor at the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology, Lund University. The successful candidate will receive five weeks of training in teaching and learning in higher education and the opportunity to learn Swedish through the University’s Swedish language courses for new international staff. For the move to Sweden, continuous relocation support will be provided. The role is a fixed-term 4-year position with potential promotion to senior lecturer. Applicants who have not received remuneration or grants from Sweden since Dec 31, 2021, and those with documented special reasons for earlier graduation, are prioritized. The candidate must have a doctoral degree and demonstrate leadership, research quality, teaching skills, and international experience. English proficiency is required, and Swedish language learning during employment is supported.
