Join us for a meditation session of stillness and live traditional Honkyoku — the original solo repertoire of the Fuke Zen monestary, played on a bamboo flute cut from a single length of root-end bamboo. No performance, no applause, no expectation. Just sound moving through a room, and the space it leaves behind.
We'll open with a short guided introduction — how to sit, how to listen, what to do with a wandering mind. After that, there's nothing to do.…
