My current laptop is dying, need a replacement suitable for remote work (web dev, occasional graphic design) and travel. Torn between a MacBook Air/Pro and a comparable Windows Ultrabook (like Dell XPS, Lenovo Yoga/ThinkPad).

Priorities are portability (weight/size), battery life, performance, and durability. What are people using and why? Any major pros/cons of Mac vs. Windows specifically for the nomad lifestyle?
