Heading to Lisbon for the first time for a 2-month stay. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the neighborhood choices (Alfama, Bairro Alto, Principe Real, Santos, etc.).

Looking for:

Good walkability
Access to cafes/restaurants/metro
Relatively safe feeling
Decent chance of meeting other nomads/expats

Any recommendations based on recent experience? Where did you stay and why?
