Considering spending a few months in Medellin later this year. I've read older posts praising its affordability, community, and infrastructure.

For those who have been recently (late 2024/early 2025):

• How's the safety situation in popular areas like El Poblado/Laureles?
• Is the cost of living still significantly lower than major European/US cities?
• What's the WiFi reliability like for video calls?
• Is the nomad community still active? Good co-working spaces?
