Notes

Executive Order No. 758 of 17 November 2008 is the authority. The Bureau of Immigration still publishes the visa, and its conversion checklist was reissued effective 17 November 2025. The applicant must be in the Philippines with a valid stay. The Commissioner is to decide within 15 days of filing. There is no published peso or dollar capital minimum. The stored job row uses a zero amount because the legal test is the ten workers, not a sum of money. The BI fee table is PHP 29,330 for the principal and the same amount for a spouse or child, plus an ACR I-Card fee of USD 250. The page says those fees were updated as of 6 March 2014 and may change. At the BSP weighted average rate on the 28 August 2026 reference bulletin, PHP 61.764 per US dollar, PHP 29,330 is about USD 475. The stored principal fee of USD 725 is that amount plus the USD 250 card. The stored dependent fee is the peso charge only, about USD 475. A 9 October 2026 bulletin was not retrieved. The peso-dollar gap versus rates reported for 8 October 2026 is under 2 percent. The Order requires a genuine intention to remain in the Philippines indefinitely, so primary residence is marked true. It does not set a day count or a minimum age. A spouse and unmarried children below 18 may be included. An Alien Employment Permit is required if the applicant occupies a position in the company, so the visa does not itself include the work permit. A medical fitness certificate is required. An NBI clearance is required when the application is filed six months or more after arrival. A resident alien is taxed on Philippine-source income. The visa does not grant citizenship. The holder does not give up their existing citizenship. A foreigner may buy a condominium, not land. The 2009 implementing rules describe a one-year probation before an indefinite visa. The Order and the current BI page speak of conditional extended stay on approval, and the 2025 checklist does not restate a probation year.
