The financial test is THB 800,000 in a Thai bank, monthly income of THB 65,000, or a combination totaling THB 800,000. Employment is prohibited. This is not the O-A long-stay visa, which adds the THB 3,000,000 insurance rule.

Notes

Los Angeles publishes the visa fee as USD 80 for a single entry and USD 200 for multiple entries. The consulate page allows a 90-day stay. The government extension page requires the THB 800,000 deposit for two months before the application and three months after permission, then a floor of THB 400,000. That page limits the THB 3,000,000 or USD 100,000 health-insurance rule to holders of code O-A. The same Los Angeles page writes the combined deposit-plus-income test as THB 80,000. The government extension page and the dedicated O-A page use THB 800,000, which is the figure stored here. Dollar amounts use 33.53 baht per dollar on 9 October 2026.
