The embassy quarter around BTS Chit Lom and Phloen Chit, from Ratchadamri Road to Wireless Road and down to Lumphini Park, with Central Embassy, Gaysorn Village and Central Chidlom. The leafy Langsuan and Ruamrudee sois hold serviced apartments and high-end condos with some of the city's highest rents. Street food is thin, nightlife is mostly hotel bars, and few nomads stay long.
Best for: Expats on corporate packages who want Lumphini Park, the luxury malls and the embassies on their doorstep
