Egyptian citizenship may be granted after a non-refundable $250,000 contribution to the state treasury, transferred from abroad. The contribution may be paid in installments over no more than one year; citizenship follows approval and completion of the program.

The $10,000 non-refundable assessment fee is payable before the application is processed. Applicants may submit in person at the reception office or through immigration intermediary offices. After preliminary approval, the applicant receives temporary residence for six months to complete the selected investment program. The official program materials identify minor children in the application documents; spouse eligibility and age limits for dependants require confirmation.
