About Phra Khanong
Pridi Banomyong Road (Sukhumvit Soi 71) north from BTS Phra Khanong, with the W District food-and-beer market by the station, bakeries, cafes and bars along the Pridi sois and the street food of Pridi Soi 2. It is one stop from Ekkamai but mostly Thai, with budget studios from about 9,000 baht a month. Pavements are patchy and the morning traffic out of the side sois is slow.
Best for: Budget-minded remote workers who want cheap street food, a mixed Thai and expat crowd and one stop to Ekkamai
