About this event
Global Rights Compliance (GRC) invites you to join us for an afternoon exploring how the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) extends its control beyond its borders, drawing on new investigative findings from GRC.
The first session will present new findings from GRC on a labour broker that has used a student visa scheme to import North Korean workers into Russia. The second session examines how the regime engages in transnational repression (TNR), to monitor, target and intimidate North Koreans living in China and Russia, and considers how Europe can respond.
Hosted by Yeji Kim & 3 others
