Invest Qatar announced the visa on 2 February 2026 and states a self-sponsored five-year residence with an option to renew. Jusour issues it after the incubator nominates the founder. People already in Qatar need a Qatar ID, a stamped three-month bank statement, a CV, an endorsement letter and an establishment card. People abroad need a passport valid for six months, an attested bank statement, an attested police clearance, a CV and the endorsement; attested papers go through the issuing authority, that country's foreign ministry and the Qatar embassy, or through Qatar's foreign ministry if attested in Qatar. After approval abroad, Jusour issues an entry permit and the founder completes the medical test, fingerprints and Qatar ID on arrival. Benefits published on the program page are sponsorship of dependents and relatives, family visit visas, domestic-worker sponsorship, ownership of assets, incubator support and merchant discounts. The renewal length, fees and minimum stay are not published. There is no separate freelance or retirement visa. The companion executive residence is employer-nominated, limited to people who already hold a Qatar ID, and is not recorded here because it is a senior-employment route rather than one of this dataset's program types. Salaries are outside Income Tax Law No. 24 of 2018. Taxable Qatar-source income is 10%. QAR 36,500 at the Qatar Central Bank peg of 3.64 is about USD 10,027.
