Argentina · Visa para estudiantes no oficial, intercambios, pasantes y becarios · apply in person
Argentina's student visa for study in non-official education, international mobility, cultural or student exchanges, volunteering, internships, and fellowships. The authorized stay is up to one year. Applications are personal and handled by the Argentine consular representation; the host institution must electronically file student data and be registered with RENURE.
The visa does not set tuition. State-managed higher-education undergraduate studies are free for Argentine citizens and foreign nationals with permanent residence. Institutions may set charges for other students. No nationally applicable tuition range was verified.
No general work permission is stated for this visa. Separate authorization is required where an activity such as an internship is part of the approved program; paid work outside the program was not confirmed.

The consular source covers non-official courses, exchange and mobility, cultural exchange, volunteering, internships and fellowships, under Articles 8–13 of DNM Disposition 2802/2023. Some categories require a convention or acceptance letter. Applicants aged 16 or older whose stay exceeds six months must provide the specified foreign police certificate and affidavit. DNU 366/2025 requires incoming foreign nationals to declare health insurance. This route is distinct from the temporary-resident visa for formal studies.
