Distinct from rentista (art. 23 b): pensionado is art. 23 c of Ley 25.871. Floor is the same 5 × SMVM set by Disposición DNM 1732/2023 as amended by 3446/2023. From 1 October 2026 SMVM is ARS 391,200/month, so the pension floor is ARS 1,956,000/month (~USD 1,287 at ~ARS 1,520/USD). Proof is a certificate from the paying government, international organisation or company of a regular permanent pension/jubilación at or above that amount; renewals need proof the benefit continues. RaDEX in-country (must be in Argentina) or Permiso de Ingreso from abroad via apoderado (up to three years). Fee: 100 UMSM extra-MERCOSUR / 50 UMSM MERCOSUR (1 UMSM = ARS 1,000). Permanent residence by arraigo after 3 years (non-MERCOSUR) or 2 years (MERCOSUR) with 50% presence and no 6-month consecutive absence. Naturalisation after 2 years continuous legal residence with no exits (DNU 366/2025); no language test on the official naturalisation page.
