Only one deposit tier applies. Former Filipinos aged 50 or older, and foreign nationals in the Courtesy categories aged 50 or older, deposit USD 1,500. Former Filipinos aged 40 to 49 deposit USD 3,000. A foreign national aged 40 to 49 deposits USD 3,000 with a pension or similar benefit of at least USD 1,000 a month, or USD 6,000 without it. There is no separate Expanded Courtesy application. The principal application fee is USD 1,500 and each dependent's application fee is USD 300. The annual PRA fee is USD 100 for a foreign-national Courtesy holder and USD 50 for a former Filipino, in each case covering the principal and two dependents, plus USD 10 for each dependent beyond two. The September 2025 processing checklist requires another USD 15,000 visa deposit for each dependent beyond two. The public program page says former Filipinos are excepted from that extra deposit. The checklist does not print the exception. The holder must be in the Philippines throughout processing. The visa has no fixed term while the deposit and fees continue. The PRA ID lasts two years. Employment needs a separate Alien Employment Permit. A condominium may be owned; land may not. A resident alien is taxed on Philippine-source income. The visa does not grant citizenship, and the holder does not give up their existing citizenship. Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator and Internet Gaming Licensee operators and workers are disqualified.
