Notes and caveats

The consular checklist requires a study program, electronic student-data filing, RENURE registration, proof of funds, an interview, and payment of consular and migration fees. A foreign police certificate and affidavit are required for applicants aged 16 or older under the stated residence-history conditions. Incoming foreign nationals must declare that they have health insurance under DNU 366/2025. Permanent residence and family reunification require separate applications; study does not grant either automatically.
