Both sides of Phahonyothin Road around BTS Ari, from the cafe sois of Soi Ari 1 to 5 and Ari Samphan in the west to the lanes off Phahonyothin Soi 8 to 14 in the east, packed with independent cafes, bakeries and small bars beside family restaurants. Coworking sits in the towers along Phahonyothin, and a one-bedroom rents for about 14,000 to 25,000 baht a month. Nightlife is low-key and the commute to Asok takes 30 minutes or more at rush hour.
Best for: Remote workers who want independent cafes, coworking and a village feel a few BTS stops north of Siam
