About Saphan Khwai

The sois on both sides of Phahonyothin Road around BTS Saphan Khwai, from Soi Sena Ruam and Sutthisan Road north to the Khlong Bang Sue canal, with noodle stalls, street vendors and older low-rise apartments beside newer condos. A modern studio rents for about 7,000 to 12,000 baht a month, well below Ari one stop south, and Chatuchak Weekend Market is a short ride north. Cafes are fewer than in Ari, coworking is scarce and the Pradiphat junction is loud with traffic.

Best for: Budget remote workers who want local rents and street food with the cafes of Ari one BTS stop away

affordable local-authentic foodie transport
