Since January 2025, all visitor visas explicitly allow remote work for overseas entities. No dedicated digital nomad visa but clear legal framework for remote work. No minimum income requirement. 6 months (multi-entry) or 9 months (single-entry). NZeTA alternative for some nationalities (~$15 USD). Tax-exempt if under 92 days or under 183 days with tax treaty country. Must not work for NZ companies.
