After the first year, a four-year card is available with A2 French and the civic exam, unless the applicant is over 65. A one-year card cannot be renewed more than three times in a row for the same reason. The first card is €350 and renewal of the one-year card is €250. The four-year card is €350. Spouse and minor children are not on this card. Family reunification is a separate procedure after 18 months. This is not the four-year talent business-creator card, which has a €30,000 investment and a master's degree or five years of experience.
