Notes

Type B.4 under article 99 of Law 5038/2023. The minister grants it after the Directorate of Foreign Direct Investment certifies the investment. An investor may combine up to three of these routes. The minimum is then the highest minimum among the routes used. Capital must be transferred from abroad. The permit fee is EUR 2,000 under article 171. At the ECB rate of 8 October 2026, EUR 1 = USD 1.1186, that is about USD 2,237. The real-estate tiers still show USD 2,300 because that older approximation has not drifted more than 10%. A holder may sell and reinvest in another article 99 route, or in real estate under article 100, within two months. Family rules are article 95: spouse or partner, unmarried children under 21, and direct ascendants of the spouses or partners. Children who turn 21 can receive a separate three-year permit. Absences do not block renewal of a type B permit. Articles 96 to 98 are separate permits for strategic investments, for setting up a business with at least EUR 500,000, and for executives of large Greek companies. They were not given records in this pass.
