Notes

Type B.6 under article 100A of Law 5038/2023. This is an investment in a startup, not a founder visa. The investor must keep the securities for five years. After that, the permit can continue if the investor buys qualifying securities again, or switches to an article 96 to 100 investment, within two months. Bankruptcy or a corporate transformation has the same two-month window, even during the five years. A breach can revoke the permit and draw a EUR 50,000 fine. The fee is EUR 2,500 under article 171, paid even if the application is refused, and attributed to the National Register of Startups company. At EUR 1 = USD 1.1186 on 8 October 2026, that is about USD 2,797. Family, absence, citizenship and the optional non-dom tax follow the other Greek investor permits. The Interior Ministry's naturalisation list names the permanent investor permit and the investment-activity permit. It does not name this B.6 title in those words, so an applicant may need long-term resident status before the seven-year citizenship application.

created the record for the article 100A startup investment, EUR 250,000, one year then two-year renewals, because its term differs from the five-year investor permits (https://www.taxheaven.gr/law/5038/2023/arthro/100%CE%91).
