Temporary residence for a person who has invested at least USD 500,000 in a home or business on Providenciales or West Caicos, or at least USD 250,000 on Grand Turk, Salt Cay, South Caicos, Middle Caicos or North Caicos. The holder may oversee that investment and cannot otherwise work. The term is from one to ten years. Ten consecutive years on a residence permit can support a Permanent Residence Certificate.

Immigration Regulations, regulation 24(4), condition B. This is not a Permanent Residence Certificate. The PRC home route at USD 300,000 or USD 1,000,000, and the without-undertaking route at USD 1,000,000, are separate records. West Caicos is paired with Providenciales here. On the PRC home-undertaking route, West Caicos is in the higher USD 1,000,000 group. The permit fee is USD 1,500 plus a USD 150 administrative fee. A spouse or child endorsement is USD 500 plus USD 150. Dependants cannot work. The Director can take up to six weeks. Border Force's public permit page describes the Home Owner's Permit and does not restate these amounts. The Immigration Bill 2026 is not in force.
