Notes

Immigration Regulations, regulation 13(2)(f), as amended by Legal Notice 6 of 2017. The citizenship page shortens both tiers to a distressed property and drops the new-construction alternative. The regulation is followed. Evidence is a certificate of occupancy and a certificate from a quantity surveyor licensed in the Islands. The home is held for five years, with twelve months to reinvest the same sum if it is sold sooner. This route is inside the Governor's investment quota. The quota number was not found. Fees are a USD 25,000 PRC fee, a USD 1,500 non-refundable undertaking fee and a USD 150 administrative fee. A spouse or child endorsement is USD 200 and does not include work. The certificate does not authorise gainful occupation. The applicant's principal home must be in the Islands. Naturalisation as a British Overseas Territories Citizen follows five years of residence, not a separate Turks and Caicos citizenship. The Immigration Bill 2026 is not in force.
