One- or two-year limited stay for a foreign shareholder who holds at least Rp10 billion in the Indonesian company that sponsors the application. The holder may act as a director or commissioner of that company and oversee its office or production. A smaller shareholding, even with a board seat, uses a work visa instead. This is not the five- and ten-year Golden Visa.

Index E28A. The applicant chooses a one-year or a two-year first permit. The stored duration and fee are the two-year grant. The one-year government fee is Rp7,000,000. The two-year fee is Rp9,500,000: visa Rp500,000, category II verification Rp2,000,000, two-year ITAS Rp5,000,000 and two-year re-entry Rp2,000,000. At Bank Indonesia's middle rate on 9 October 2026 of Rp17,890 per US dollar, Rp9,500,000 is about US$531 and Rp10 billion is about US$558,971. The sponsor files online. The page also asks for a company-establishment decree and the company's current-account statements for the last two months. A company younger than two months has 90 days after the permit to file those statements. A three-month personal or sponsor statement of at least US$2,000 is living-cost evidence. An extension cannot be longer than the first grant, and the total limited stay cannot exceed six years. The product page does not state that cap or a processing time. Permanent stay for this investor category requires at least Rp15 billion of shares, and the stay regulation requires three consecutive years in Indonesia before the conversion. Family can join, including a spouse, an unmarried child under 18, and a parent. The visa authorizes the investment and the board role in the sponsoring company. It is not a general work permit. A tax resident is taxed on worldwide income. The visa does not grant citizenship.
