Notes
Net asset requirement HK$30M over the six months before net-asset assessment. Investment: HK$27M in permissible financial assets and/or real estate + HK$3M in CIES Investment Portfolio. From March 1, 2026, residential real estate must be one single property with transaction price of HK$30M or above; pre-September 17, 2025 real estate purchases remain subject to the older HK$10M aggregate cap. PRC passport holders require overseas permanent residence. Right of abode still depends on ordinary-residence rules after 7 years.
