Notes
Officially launched in 2024. Minimum income EUR 28,000/year; must come from qualifying remote work (passive income excluded). Health insurance must cover minimum EUR 30,000. Inbound Workers Regime offers 50% income exemption for up to 5 years. Regime Forfettario also available: flat 5% or 15% tax on income up to EUR 85,000. Proposed additional digital-nomad-specific tax incentive under discussion in 2026 Budget Law. Spouse income: EUR 34,087/year; plus EUR 1,550/year per child.
