Investor permit for a non-citizen over 18 who is a shareholder, owner, or appointed representative of a Fiji-registered business and who shows funds of at least FJD 300,000 for that share contribution, unless a waiver is approved. The permit is approved for three years. One year is issued first, and the remaining two years follow a balance application.

The holder may carry on the business named on the permit and may not take other employment. A spouse and children under 18 can be included. Family members who are themselves shareholders need their own investor permits. De facto partners and children aged 18 or over apply separately. The fee is FJD 650.05 for the principal and FJD 185 for each dependant. An extension may be granted for one to three years. Naturalisation follows the ordinary five-of-ten-years rule. Fiji does not issue a permanent residence permit.
