Current national averages for annual undergraduate tuition are ₩6,820,244 overall, ₩4,265,842 at national/public universities and ₩7,625,336 at private universities; graduate averages are lower. D-2 students need advance immigration permission for part-time work. The official table allows up to 30 hours/week for associate and bachelor's students and 35 hours/week for master's and doctoral students when language and eligibility conditions are met; lower caps apply without the required proficiency, and approved students may work without an hours limit on weekends and during vacations. Eligibility is based on course, year, Korean proficiency, institution and academic standing; restricted work types remain prohibited.
